SEQiFY® & Cyber Risk Management

What is Cyber Risk Management?

With Cyber Risk Management, risks are identified, analyzed and prioritized. Based on this data, appropriate measures can be set, see e.g. NIST Risk Management Framework. The management level keeps an eye on the company's / department's goals, allocates resources and guides activities to keep the cyber risk under control.

Is SEQiFY® a SIEM or does it replace existing security tools?

No – SEQiFY® is not a SIEM and does not replace any operational tools. Instead, SEQIFY uses existing systems such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, AD, etc. as data sources. SEQIFY analyzes, links and enriches this information – and translates it into manageable, controllable risks.

Who is SEQiFY® of interest to?

SEQiFY® is for CIOs, CISOs and IT managers from medium-sized companies to large corporations. The platform is aimed specifically at decision-makers who want to understand, prioritize and strategically manage cyber risks company-wide – with clear key figures in real time.

What are the App Insights?

The App Insights provide a company-wide and system-wide overview of your risk from apps – for mobile devices as well as for apps on desktop and server. The risk indicator includes various risk-relevant information such as critical lifecycle information or possible installed multi-versions. In addition, information on granted permissions as well as the company headquarters of the app manufacturers is available. You can find more details on the function here!

How can I identify ghost users?

In the “User Insights” function (to be found under Risk Insights > User Insights), you can see in the overview how many ghost users have been identified and in which systems they are assigned. Click on “Ghost User” to open the corresponding list.

How does SEQiFY® define which user accounts are “ghost users”?

Please define your “leading system” in the connectors (under Connectors > Edit in the respective connector: Set “Is Primary Directory” set “on”). SEQiFY® refers to this leading system in the list of “Ghost users”. If a user account does not (or no longer) exist there, all deviations are displayed as ghost users.

Is there a multi-factor authentication option?

The option MFA is available with SEQiFY® and can be activated to increase security when logging in to the dashboard. By entering username + password + code (OTP) your data is protected even better from access by unauthorized persons.

Do we need a processor agreement (PIO) or declaration of commitment?

Yes, that's why SEQiFY provides a self-commitment declaration – this replaces the AVV. You can request the self-commitment statement by email at any time.

Purpose: Evaluation of the info provided by the customer to present risk information for devices and users for dedicated SEQiFY® users.

What personal data of employees is processed?

We process personal data as follows: First name, last name, e-mail + devices and software information.

When will employees' personal data be deleted from the dashboard?

SEQIFY displays user data from your company's connected systems. If a user no longer exists in any of the connected systems, the associated data is removed from SEQIFY within 24 hours.

Example: A company has integrated Entra ID, Endpoint Security and MDM as data sources in SEQIFY.

a) If a user is still in Entra ID and MDM but has been removed from Endpoint Security, the user data remains visible in SEQIFY.

b) If a user is deleted in all three systems, the corresponding data is also automatically removed in SEQIFY within 24 hours.

However, we are happy to grant various benefits by individual agreement if both parties agree on a minimum term.

Can I change my subscription model on the fly?

You can independently adjust the selected subscription to your needs at any time. Depending on the selected payment option, the change will be implemented from the next month (for monthly payment) or the next year (for annual payment).

How can I cancel a paid subscription?

You can cancel your paid subscription in your SEQiFY interface with a notice period of 3 months to the end of a contract year. The paid contract year begins on the first day of the month following the date of conclusion of the contract and lasts for 12 months.

In your Admin Center, under “Tenants,” click on the three dots to the right of the relevant tenant and then on “Upgrade Subscription.” In the next window, select “Change Current Plan” and confirm with “Unsubscribe.” Please note that there is still a remaining term. You can continue to use SEQiFY as usual during this period, after which your subscription will be automatically terminated.

50 users for Proofpoint =
150 licences required for SEQiFY
